Frequently Asked Questions

High turnover can be disruptive to our communities,  we require leases of minimum 6 months with a maximum of 3 years.

Yes, at Morton Place Horta we have rooms for couples.

Our leases are all inclusive, so the price you pay does not change over the course of the first year of your lease. Included in your rent is:

  • electricity, gas
  • wifi
  • housekeeping
  • maintenance
  • property tax
  • TV subscriptions

After one year, if you decide to stay, your lease is increased by the annual inflation adjustment published on the Belgian government website.

Each candidate is asked to do a video or in person tour of the room. If you decide to go ahead with your reservation we will ask you for a copy of your id, proof of income or your work agreement and we will issue you a lease. Once this is signed you need to pay your first month’s rent to secure the room.

We ask for one month’s rent as damage deposit to be kept at MyMinFin.

Our community consists of international professionals generally aged between 28-45. We try to keep a healthy balance of languages spoken in the house as well as gender parity.

Yes all leases allow you to be domiciled at Morton Place.

“Amazing house, amazing management, and amazing housemates! The entire experience, from my initial online enquiry to leaving the house, has been wonderful.”

In our MP community, we have held the most fun Netflix sessions and Eurovision watching parties. Not to forget the welcome dinners or the countless cooking sessions! At the same time, the house setup has given us the possibility to enjoy all the benefits of community life while preserving our privacy. None of this would have been possible without the excellent cleaning services and modern facilities: a fully equipped kitchen, a smart TV and individual rooms with private bathroom.

(And we should not forget the guest room – which is extremely convenient when you have friends or relatives over for a visit!)

Overall, I would recommend Morton Place without hesitation to any young professional in Brussels who wishes to find a warm, modern and comfortable place they could call home.

I arrived in Brussels in 2019 not knowing anyone and ended up in Morton Place for 4 years. I not only had a very nice place that made feel like home, but alos find a family within my roomates. If you are looking for an all inclusive place, elegantly decorated, run by a very thoughtful team, very well located and where you ll feel at home, then you are in the right place.

“I lived in the house for six months and really enjoyed it. It was a second home for me while staying in town and I can’t imagine a better coliving place.”

Morton Place Parvis has literally been “home away from home” for the last years. The co-living experience in itself and the lifelong lasting friendships I have made in the house are memories I will forever treasure. Needless to say, this would have never been possible without the tireless and professional work of the MP team!

As a young expat in Brussels, I was looking for a clean, comfortable and modern place to share with like-minded individuals. Little did I know that I would get much more than that: not only flatmates but a second family and not just a modern house but literally a place I could call home – with an excellent customer service and facilities of the highest standard on top!

Fantastic house, great services, especially cleaning. Convenient location if you need to be in Brussels and to occasionally travel abroad.

Best input – output ration EVER! It seems expensive at first sight but the team around Tanya is just amazing and worth every single cent. I have never felt that perfectly taken care of by any of my landlords nor housekeeping team before. Enjoy your stay!

I have had an amazing experience at Morton Place Chatelain. It is a cosy an beautiful house very well located. Tanya an Ivonne have been very supportive with all that is needed and always at the right time. Thank you so much! Feeling grateful :D

Great place to stay. Amazing neighbourhood and the house itself is great too. The team always pays a lot of attention, everything is organized and managed very professional. I did enjoy my time there a lot, also because MP seeks to have stable and friendly house communities. Oh, and it looks just like the pictures, so WYSIWYG.

Beautiful house with a very spacious and cosy common area. I enjoyed living at Morton Place Louise, in the heart of Saint Gilles. I met wonderful people and the house is really well taken care of by the team.

Beautiful and well-maintained coliving. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The house is spacious, airy, stylish, and in an excellent location for young professionals. The flatmates are friendly, and the house has a real sense of community
